These were a perfect heavier duty U-bolt for the cheap made ones that came on my trailer for the spare tire. The original 3/8” bolts broke (factory installed) and left my whole spare tire assembly bouncing down the road in traffic nearly causing an accident. These new 7/16” U-Bolts are 100% better quality than the originals. Peace of mind knowing that these won’t break means a lot.

I was expecting only an inch of length threads... not 3/4 of the leg cut for threads... it weakens the u bolt purpose. i did not see any way to communicate the length of thread required... jeff..

I'm adding tiedowns to an aluminun ATV trailer. Don't trust the plywood deck, don't want to drill through the 2" wide aluminum beam backbone. 2" ubolts to exact length was a perfect answer, and they arrived fast.
